Macphail’s 30 Year Old Single Malt

From revered independent bottler Gordon & McPhail, the distillery of origin of this single malt is a closely guarded secret. The casks were produced to their exact specifications, delivering a complex, rich and elegant whisky with sweet sherry influences – and an intriguing air of mystery. The 30-year-old Speysider has been bottled at 46% abv.

On the nose, stewed fruit notes combine with apple, roasted nuts and subtle chocolate. The palate is spicy to start, followed by flavours of blackberry, raspberry, and apple. Milk chocolate, tangerine and oak come to the fore, before a delectable finish with hints of menthol and cocoa.
