Loch Lomond 47 Year Old Remarkable Stills Series

The concluding expression in Loch Lomond’s Remarkable Stills series – a collection of some of the oldest and rarest spirits ever released by the Highland distillery, celebrating the alchemy and engineering of Loch Lomond’s whisky-making process. This 100% unpeated expression was initially matured for over four decades in refill American oak barrels, before a special four year finish in a second-fill Oloroso sherry cask. The spectacular bottling is limited to only 200 bottles worldwide.

Expect aromatic aromas of rose petal, toffee, orange, apple and cinnamon, which lead to a palate full of caramel and vanilla intertwined with fresh apple, melon, kiwi and elderflower flavours. The finish is a long one, with notes of sweet brown sugar fading to gentle cinnamon spice.
