Private Collection Convalmore 1975 #2564

Released as part of Gordon & MacPhail’s Private Collection, this Speyside single malt was distilled at the now-closed Convalmore distillery in Dufftown. Filled into a refill American oak hogshead in 1975 and aged for 46 years, only 138 bottles have been produced at 47.8% abv.

The nose brings Turkish delight, lemon zest, and candied orange peel. The palate is floral, complemented by notes of lemon curd and orange rind. The finish is smooth with notes of Madagascan vanilla and citrus appearing at the close.
