Springbank 1993 26 Year Old Virtual Open Day 2020

Distilled at Springbank distillery which is a family owned distillery on the Kintyre Peninsula in Western Scotland. The annual Campbeltown Whisky Festival couldn’t take place like normal due to the Covid-19 pandemic, so, they did a Virtual Open Day and this was one of the open day releases. This expression was created using two refill bourbon hogsheads from 1993 which were laid down to mature for over two decades before being bottled at a strength of 51.1% abv.
