Hakushu 18 Year Old Peated Malt Suntory 100th Anniversary Release

Celebrate 100 years of House of Suntory with this limited edition Hakushu 18 Year Old featuring a special new label design in honour of Suntory’s strive for quality and ingenuity, grounding them in Japanese culture.

Hakushu 18 Year Old was born at Suntory’s mountain distillery nestled deep in the forests of Mt. Kaikomagatake. Refined and elegant, the expression is a beautifully gentle Japanese take on peated whisky. The smoke never overwhelms, and is more layered and fragrant than it is in Scotch.

The nose opens with notes of crisp green apple, fragrant jasmine and subtle smoke, which lead to a sweet palate of chocolate-chip biscuits and vanilla. The finish is quite dry, with more sweet and gentle smoke.
