Macallan 2002 Exceptional Cask #2340-04 2018 Release

Distilled at The Macallan distillery as part of their Exceptional Cask range, this expression was distilled in early 2002 before spending more than a decade in a European oak sherry hogshead. It was bottled in spring 2018 with only 283 bottles produced and was originally available in Europe and direct from The Macallan.

Expect aromas of ginger, dried fruit, and figs on the nose. The palate brings more ginger, stewed fruits, and sultanas before leading into a lingering finish full of dates and orange zest.
