Introducing The Kurayoshi 8 Year Old, a refined Japanese blended malt whisky crafted by Matsui Shuzou. Matured for eight years in carefully selected American white oak casks, it strikes an elegant balance of flavour and character. Bottled at 43% ABV, it is brought to strength with the exceptionally pure, volcanic rock filtered waters drawn from the underground springs of Mount Daisen.

On the nose, it offers inviting layers of toffee, soft red berries and a delicate whisper of violet, setting the tone for a measured yet expressive dram. The palate unfolds with pink peppercorn warmth, bright orange peel and a mellow wash of toasted oak, creating both texture and complexity. The experience concludes with a graceful finish of creamy macadamia nut and sweet strawberry jam, lingering just long enough to tempt the next sip.
