Glen Grant Mr George Legacy 1954 70 Year Old Final Edition

The fifth and final release in the Mr George Legacy Series commemorates the vision and dedication of Mr George Urquhart, a pivotal figure in the history of single malt Scotch whisky. Crafted to honour his lifelong pursuit of perfection in whisky maturation, this ultra-rare expression is limited to just 130 bottles, marking the 130th anniversary of Gordon & MacPhail.

Distilled in 1954 and bottled in January 2025, this dram spent the intervening years in a first-fill Sherry truncheon before being offered here as a once-in-a-lifetime expression sitting at 50.5% abv.

Expect a nose of light leather, coffee, vanilla, and soft spices before being drawn into the palate of toasted oak, caramels and walnuts, all bound together by the lingering fruit and smoke finish.
